I never thought I'd actually try on Invisalign treatment as I never thought I would want to straighten up my teeth.
From young, I have cross bites on my left side of my lower teeth (bitting on my upper ones) but they are usually not obvious in my pictures because of the angles I took, trying to avoid it showing out haha!
But honestly when it comes to shootings, gosh. It is so obvious that I think people would just pay attention to my teeth instead. HAHAHA
Therefore, I- have- to- fix- it.
As an artiste, I think the biggest and first impression you give someone is definitely your smile! and I'm always conscious on how my smile look everytime on photos and also on screen.
So, one fine day, I decided to consult a dentist to really see what I can do to my teeth, I went on googling and landed on Imperial Dental Specialist Centre good reviews and so, I just decided to give it a go and consult.
I went in and was greeted by friendly receptionist. I was told to wait for a moment and then I was lead further into the dental clinic on the second floor. To be honest, this is the biggest dental clinic I've been to. No kidding. haha!
I was then consulted by Dato Dr How Kim Chuan , on what possible treatment is best for my condition and tadaa! I was introduced to Invisalign.
How does Invisalign Treatment Work?
"Your Invisalign® clear aligners are custom-made for you. The aligners are virtually invisible and fit snugly over your teeth.
Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and even rotating them when needed. Your aligners are engineered to use the right amount of force in the right place at the right time.
When you change to the next set of aligners (typically every week) your teeth gradually move into position, following a custom treatment plan mapped out by your doctor.
Only Invisalign clear aligners are made of proprietary, multilayer SmartTrack® material to gently shift your teeth into place."
Okay, apparently they are the new type of braces but without the wires and pain. You can take them in and out conveniently whenever you eat or brush your teeth. The rest of the times, you just wear them and the fact that they are barely noticeable, friends of mine do not even noticed I was wearing invisalign on my teeth.
You have to change them every week or two depending on how often your doctor advices you to. For my case, Dato Dr How advices me to change them every two weeks.
My total Invisalign treatment was 14 pairs of aligners which took me 28 weeks = 7 months treatment.
In just 7 months, I've fixed my smile!
This is taken before my treatment. You can clearly see what I meant on my cross bites.
Here are more pictures during my treatment. It's super convenient and not obvious on wear, so you don't have to worry about the visible wires or the trouble of cleaning them at all!
Perfect if you always attend events, meetings without having the fear of looking different!
The whole time of my treatment, I was under the supervision of Dr How. He is super professional, efficient and humble. The wise words he advised me are very encouraging and made me realized , he's not just any other ordinary doctor but somehow like a mentor to me as well.
Deep down my sincere heart, Thank you Dato Dr How for your kind patience and time on me. I sincerely appreciate everything.
The after treatment smile for you all to compare! My jawline is now more even and my smile is definitely more aligned!
Dr How is also kind enough to help me do gum lasers to make my teeth even more aligned and lessen my gummy smile!
My smile became so much more wider and more confident after fixing it and I do recommend you this treatment if you need to get your teeth fixed.
Do get your consultations with a professional dentist and I too recommend you to consult with Dato Dr How at Imperial Dental bangsar. No harm doing it if you need a better looking smile. =)
BTW, there a good news as on the 25th March 2018, 10am
Imperial Dental Specialist Centre will be having an Invisalign Open Day!
So if you're interested in this treatment and want to know more about straightening your teeth , do not hesitate to contact them at 016-3365529!
They will be happy to serve you!
Till then! =)
Stay tune for my upcoming posts of veneers as well! ＝）
Firstly, I apologize for not updating for such a long time.
Had some issues and was finding myself all over again during these months. But that's not the main point of this post today.
Yeap, as the picture above and my header, Thomas and I had officially launched my own product and brand of coffee drip bags!
Presenting to you ....* drum rolls*
Every moment of starting up since January was precious. Especially my thinking from "I-dont-know-how-to" even register a company's account to the troublesome corporate banking accounts *oops* and to our launching a week ago, it was really challenging.
But thank god, everything is going well. *prays hard* *cross fingers*
In case you do not know what we're exactly selling or doing or etc *heh*
We brought in locally roasted beans from famous cafes in Malaysia for our first batch of coffee drip bags;
Firstly, VCR cafe! If you're familiar with KL or Bangsar, you would know how famous their cafe are for their delicious on-point coffee. No matter milk based or even filtered coffee!
Really thank you Kenneth for helping us roast the awesome batch of Columbia Pitalito Supremo!
It consist of berry like texture with cherry acidity and lingering aftertaste!
Secondly, Seraph Awaken! I personally admire and loved that cafe as it is filled with so much art yet still containing the local feel of the cafe. I would say something like a kopitiam but in indie style? haha No wifi, No air-conditioning yet the people there are so friendly in service! We got their winning house blend beans, (won BRONZE for Australian International Coffee Awards 2017)
This house blend have a bright acidity taste and hints of apricot in it, ending with a berry tea-like aftertaste.
Last but not least, My Liberica! Famous locally especially in Johor Bahru. We really appreciate Jason and Bryan for the host and bringing us around the coffee plantation farm in JB, letting us to appreciate Malaysian coffee even more. The beans have a strong nutty and chocolaty taste. It has full body and strong aftertaste.
We sell in a box of 5 packets and in a box of 10 packets according to your needs!
Well starting up a business ain't easy but I believe as long as I have your support, we'll grow eventually. =)
Oh, on the side note, to my fans, not to worry, I"m still singing and have started acting recently, just that this business would be my side interest and achievement.
It's really new so now we are only online based, orders can be made through our facebook inbox - https://www.facebook.com/tazstory.my
Support will ya?
Will also try to update more often!
See you soon!
I often find myself staring at this page blankly. Forcing out some ideas and things to write in this blog.
Here I am sitting at at a cafe, having a cup of speciality coffee, and looking out at the scenery, still, thinking-what-to-write.
I felt this is wrong.
I remembered times back then when I was in high school, I wrote my lame and boring lifestyle blog every single day with no hesitation, and no blank mind, just writing whatever happened to me recently, writing whatever I was thinking and whatever I was feeling.
Well, honestly, it wasn't the same anymore. Or I should say, it couldn't be the same anymore.
10 years ago. I was fourteen. There was no Facebook.
Social media wasn't the thing yet.
All they were to go online was the online games, FRIENDSTER (hah! I remember this one) and blogs and oh! MSN! (so much feels) haha!
How we used to connect with our friends, wanting to know what happen to each other when we don't see each other? Blogs! We read each other's blogs, stalk our crushes blogs, and read some really cool people's blog. heh~
But as I was saying. It wasn't the thing now anymore.
*Of course there are still really good bloggers out there that I occasionally still read and visit!
10 years later, today, I seldom blogs to express myself anymore.
The Facebook goddess has made everybody so transparent that you could express yourself every single minute, telling the world where you are and what are you currently doing.
WHICH I did not really used that as much as people do. *exceptional cases if I were to attend events and tell people and fans in advance where I was heading so I can meet them*
But other than that, my lifestyle is pretty much known by people who follows my Instagram and Facebook. =/ which I now start to wonder if it's a good thing or a bad thing
That is why, when I open up this page clicking on *new post* wanting to write an update on this blog. I blanked out.
I'll try to work on this stuff again and I will be back soon hopefully with much more ideas and thoughts to share with all of you!
Oh just sharing. My view now. =)
An inspired post to write based on my sister's blog HERE. It was almost everything I wanted to say recently.
The phrase was based on the movie La La Land and honestly, it was hurting me much while watching this entire movie.
Nope. It wasn't just about the love story that was in this movie that made me felt so, but it was how relatable this movie was to me, for us, the fools who dream.
Chasing after a dream that might not come true, putting every single effort on it hurts even more when you get disappointed all over again and again.
I used to, and even now, often, trapped in reality and often, trapped in our own dreams.
How foolish I would often think of myself chasing after a dream that has always been turn down because of the reality in this society.
"But here, here’s to us fools who dream; because no matter how crazy they seem, they are your dreams. You shouldn’t be embarrassed, you shouldn’t be discouraged. In fact, you should be afraid. -Alex- "
You should be afraid of what you will be or might be facing.
You should be afraid of how you are going to fall down for the very first time, how hard will you actually fall.
You should be afraid of the amount of clueless times you will get lost into.
You should be afraid of how too-good-to-be-true promises would break.
You should be afraid of nothing's ever permanent.
I took a step out, out from the comfort zone. I chased my dreams, I achieved my first step and, what's next?
Again, it drowned me into reality and it was like a cycle all over again,
Today, I took a step out from my comfort zone, again.
"And now, What's next?" I asked myself.
No matter how risky, no matter how big the consequences might be, I'd still insist.
Because I strongly believe, Dreams do really come true.
You might be wondering now, was it really worth it, chasing after your crazy little dream?
Please allow me to tell you, YES. No matter how crazy it sounded like, no matter how old you are right now, dreams, never die.
Because I know, in 20 years later, you'll look back and tell yourself "I wished I'd did that". And that would be too late to realize.
The regrets would be too big to carry if only you had asked yourself now“What if?”
What if I had been braver?
What if I had fought for my dreams?
What if I had fought for my love?
What if I had fought for my life?
Instead, why not tell yourself to chase them now, have no regrets later?
Dreams do come true. And I'm one of the biggest fool.
Ever since I debuted, as most of you know, my red hair was the highlight of my image during that moment and yes, it was super bright red mcdonald like hair! hahaha!
You have not seen this side of me before? No worries, been there, done that. HAHAHA!
What amuses me most about Jeff Lee's hair colouring that usually, in other saloons these bright red and purple colours do not last for more than 1/2 weeks. But to my surprise, in Jeff Lee the Hair Company, they do last about 3 weeks to a month AND, most importantly, they do not fade off uglily at all. It remains a similar colour yet still good to go! =D
Only to know that for these bright colours, they actually used a different hair dye product namely- hair manicure instead of the normal hair dye colour. It's consistency is more watery-like than the normal creamy and thick hair dye.
What I like about it most, it's that IT DOESN'T DAMAGE MY HAIR AS MUCH AS THE NORMAL HAIR DYE AND I FRIGGIN LOVE IT!
HAHAHA! Chances are, because it lasts really long, you don't have to keep going back to touch up your colour and re-damaging your hair over and over again.
But if you look properly again at the second picture I posted above, you are able to notice my hair is quite in a good condition and silky smooth. I kid-you-not, it really is healthy despite bleaching and dying my hair for a numerous of times during last few years.
Now let me explain WHY.
They do have this keratin treatment and to me, it is MAGICAL!
It is not a rebonding but it is a treatment that treats and repair all your damaged roots from in to outside of every strand of your hair! Just like the picture above. They do use a straightener heat to make it's treament intact with every strand of your hair so it goes INTO the hair, repairing it.
(Before I went to Jeff Lee's hair saloon, there are many treatment out there which only treats the surface of your hair. You'll realize once you washed your hair, your hair gets back to its original coarse condition.)
But this Keratin treatment does not gets affected even if I wash my hair right after I go home. Seriously!
And what's best about doing this treatment aside than having a smooth and silky hair even after bleaching your hair numerous of times, you get to do the Korean Hair Spa and Jeff Lee The Hair Company saloon is the first and only one in Malaysia that has this service.
Lying down comfortably with comforter covering you, ready to enjoy the treatment with a compliment of super good head, shoulder and arm massage! <3
To me, it lasted for almost 6 months to 8 months instead of just 3 months.
My recent hair colour- Ash green and again~ i'm lovin it!
With my favourite hair stylist - Andres Loh!
He did my hair styling for my latest album [Love Story] and almost most of my hair service there! Thumbs up!
My Recent hair cut and I'm feeling really fresh now! Ready for my countdown show this 31st December! hehehe
Did I mentioned that every services you do in Jeff Lee The Hair Company, if you mention my name, you are entitled a 10% discount! Woohoo!
Just for your information, i wrote this post upon my own will and it wasn't even requested by them but I just had to share with you my pure opinion on Jeff Lee The Hair Company.
They never fail me, not even once!
So, I'm here just to share as many many of my fans did asked why is my hair still so managable and healthy despite so many styling and dyes I did on my poor hair. haha
Now that you know, do check them out at their facebook HERE !
Thats all from me and HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! <3
Hohoho! It's my favourite month of the year! Nope~ not my birthday month but it's definitly Christmas month! Weee!
I don't really know why I love Christmas that much. Every year when it's coming towards the end of the year, I kinda look forward for Christmas season alot.
It's because the atmosphere that people around us creates, such as christmas decorations all over the street, christmas songs playing everywhere, etc.
Plus, Malaysia is a one year off summer season and having these atmosphere around us making me feel that, winter's coming! haha
Alright. I know, its been long since I've updated but do forgive me as my time do not allow me to update often. I'm oftenly found dead in my bedroom after a long day at work and too lazy to do anything else already. HA!~ Excuses.
Okay, lets start updates from November.
I went to Bangkok during the first week of November right after my album promo tour to have some fresh air!

First and foremost, I want to thank my company, Jam Records for still trusting in me, pushing me in everyway they can and lifting me up when I'm nobody. My two managers, Guo Rong and Pei Theng, for being there for me always, and burning the midnight oil for me during my album release days.
Also, my producer, Yen Hue, thank you for writing and producing this great song for me and although I know there are still so much more things I need to improve on but thank you for giving me faith.
Thank you director JY and his team for the MV creative ideas and awesome shootings!
Not forgetting my duet partner Thomas for completing this song with me!

To conclude this blog post~ ...
Singing had always been my life ever since young. I love singing, I love performing and what not, during schooling days, I never let go of any chances to being involve in performances and I still never regret it.
I wasn't born to sing well. It took me years of training and I was lucky to be able to start when I was 7 years old. Like they said, 5 minutes on stage, 5 years of training.
Well, joining the National Choir team when I was 7 years old did helped to open up my passion to music and ended up being in there for 11 years before I went off solo.
On stage alone, was totally different with being on stage with many. The problem started when I realize I couldn't handle one song on my own as I relied too much on others during my choir times. That's when I went to seek for professional help, I went to a professional music academy to brush up my singing skills. And god's will, I ended up in EasternWorld Music Academy.
Not long after being in there, I was selected to be in a group of training sessions called EMA Junior. There, we had so many classes teaching us how to be prepared before one of us could debut in this music industry. After being a year in that training, yeap, unexpectedly, I've debuted. =D *smiles*
It wasn't easy at all, to chase after your dreams and make it happen. But I do believe if you keep persisting and strive on, nothing is impossible.
Why am I writing this post? Because I'm here to tell you, there's a chance for you, you and you who love to perform, sing and dance!
The EMA Apprentice second audition will be on 17th September 2016
Venue: EasternWorld Music Academy
I did all I could to chase after my dreams. Now, it's your turn. =）

Perfume. What does it mean to you?
It's when you smell a perfume worn by someone that just passed you by, or when you smell someone's perfume that was coming towards you across the hall or a room?
When I was in high school, I used to think perfume for meant for some special occasions or maybe whenever there's a big group of gathering sessions. And then after I entered University, I started thinking that perfume was put on depending on a person's mood. And then again after i found my one and only perfume that represents me so much, I started putting it on everyday from university until today. That, eventually became a part of me, representing myself.
Why say so?
In university, my friends once told me, they do not have to look back to see who came in the classroom, because they could eventually "smell" me whenever I'm around. Haha!
Perfume to me then became something that people would remember you as, or maybe an impression you give them. And often, it could tell you what kind of personality a person have, by using perfume.
So, as usual I was going for a job at Pavilion for Q-E3 Online Magazine interview crossover with Christian Dior brand. I was attended by Tiffany, specialist in fragrance and perfume and she did shared with me so much that I kinda think I went for a class today! haha
She shared with me Christian Dior's journey on getting every single perfume by finding the right and pure raw materials to create the best perfume for everyone's need and likes. Which brought me to a journey on the history of fragrance, how the process has been done, what kind of raw materials do they use and so much more that was so interesting to know.
She then brought me to understand my preferred fragrance type and what comes in my mind when I first smell the fragrance. It sounded almost kind of psychological but still, it's interesting.
It actually reminds me of coffee, for some reasons.
It involves your sensory skills and what can you actually smell in it. Just like coffee.
The flowers? what specific flowers? The fruit? Which specific fruit?
Well, I do not have the golden nose but I'm still learning to improve on my sensory skills.
Yes I don't dress like this often. But on occasions, I do. haha!
Thank you Dior for giving me the newest MIss Dior Absolutely Blooming fragrance!
I thank you not only for the product you present for me but also the knowledge that I appreciate a lot.
